Descripción
Sumario:This dataset includes the source data related to the submission of the article "PACAP-PAC1R modulates fear extinction via the ventromedial hypothalamus" to Nature Communications. It includes data about mRNA and protein regulation of PACAP-PAC1R system after a stress paradigm coupled with a fear conditioning and fear extinction task. The effects of stress circuitry chemogenetic manipulation over PACAP-PAC1R regulation are also shown. Data from two cohorts of human participants are included, in the first cohort, the effects of the menstrual cycle over post-traumatic symptoms were investigated. In the second cohort, the effects of PACAP1R genotype in the SNP rs2267735 were investigated in a fear extinction task.
