| Sumario: | Data obtained in oceanographic surveys conducted off the Catalan coast (from 40.15˚N to 42˚N and from 0.5˚E to 3.5˚E). The dataset contains: • The stations sampled in each survey, with location data (longitude and latitude) and data for the year sampled. • At each sampling station, the environmental variables analysed are provided: bottom depth (m); surface oceanographic variables from the CTD casts (temperature, in ºC, salinity and chlorophyll-a, in µg L-1), maximum value of chlorophyll-a in the water column (Chla_CM); maximum density gradient (Gmax); pycnocline depth (PD); geostrophic velocity components (VelX_U, VelY_V); and surface (10 m) dynamic height (DH_10). • Abundance of fish larvae collected with the Bongo net, standardized per unit area (No. larvae 10 m 2), at each sampling station |
