Descrição
Resumo:Foreign language leaming and teaching is a particularly interesting área of exploration in communicative research, bound to produce substantial changes in its applications, for the language may act simultaneously as both the means and the end of leaming and teaching. Thus, communication in a foreign language is to be regarded, at least potentially, as specially consistent in its aims and its procedures, as well as in its processes and its products. Therefore, it may also be approached as the possibility to bridge apparently opposed technical and artistic attitudinal demands. As a teacher-leamer working on the assumption that communication is the ground where the subjects of education meet, 1 would like to suggest that there are different ways through which the communicative potential can be actualized by promoting opportunities of collaboration in our profession which can be shared by all three students, teachers and teacher trainers in foreign language teaching and leaming. This paper is only going to point out three of those fxjssible communicative instances, namely, the writing of leaming diaries, the adaptation and/or creation of educative materials and the participation in the design, realization and evaluation of leaming projects.
