Descripción
Sumario:[EN] With the emergence of ICT in the classroom, having digital competencies and transmitting them to students is essential to achieve academic skills. The objective was: a) to evaluate the digital competence of the teaching staff, b) to determine if there is a correspondence between the self-assessment carried out by the teaching staff and the perception that the students they teach have of their digital competence and c) to evaluate the perception that the students have about their own digital competence and if teachers contribute to it. This work was based on the European Digital Competence Framework of DigCompEdu as a reference, with 6 areas and 22 digital competencies. The DigCompEdu Check-in tool was used as a selfassessment measure for teachers, and an ad-hoc questionnaire was prepared for students. The results indicate a moderate and positive correlation between the scores obtained by the teachers and the level of digital competence that their students perceive of them. The lowest scores were obtained in areas 5 and 6, which correspond to the capability of teachers to promote these competences in students. Future studies should focus attention on promoting the tools that favor the development of digital skills in students.
