Sumario:[EN] Italian loanwords have been mainly studied based on their use in the cult register or literary register. Our purpose is to analyse what extent these borrowings reached the general or common language or, on the contrary, if they did not transcend beyond educated language. For our study we have used the CorLexIn corpus, a corpus that registers numerous lists of goods from all the Hispanic world during the Spanish Golden Age and, due to its qualities, includes a wide sample of the daily lexicon, as well as other corpora with similar characteristics. The observed result is that, frequently, these loanwords have a different level of validity depending on the corpus that we use as a reference.
