| Sumario: | Using kinetic theory we analyse the fluctuations of the total internal energy of a granular gas under stationary uniform shear flow, and find that they are coupled to fluctuations in the different components of the total pressure tensor. Explicit expressions for all the possible one- and two-time cross and auto correlations of the fluctuations are obtained for the two dimensional case. For the range of inelasticity considered, good agreement is found between the theoretical predictions and Molecular Dynamics simulations. |
