Sumario:Data on growth and survival of two broods of juvenile lobster Homarus gammarus (Linneaus, 1758) raised at the Centro de Experimentación Pesquera installations in Asturias are presented. The temperature oscillated between 17.5 ºC and 20.5 ºC (average: 19 ºC) throughout the experimento The post-larvae (phase IV) of the controlled group, with an average cephalic length (LC) of 5.35 mm and 5.93 mm, reached an LC (phase XII) of 16.65 mm and 19.15 mm at 195 and 225 days old, respectively. The survival rate was, depending on the brood, between 82.44 % and 61.17 % (average: 71.88 %) for the 3-month-old lobsters, and between 66.81 % and 58.13 % (average: 62.50 %) for lobsters at restocking time, at the age of 7-8 months.
