On the other hand, the situation of this territorial scenario will determine it becoming a genuine crossroads of routes, around which a complete series of mansions will be established (Ad Palem, Mariana, Parietinis, etc.). Along with these nuclei in this zone there are also various villae located, to which must be added the necropolies, towns, etc., that all form the structure of the Roman settlement of this southern area of the Meseta.Entre los diversos núcleos de población romanos constatables en el ámbito meridional del actual territorio de Castilla-La Mancha, destaca en primer término Libisosa por su carácter de colonia. También de Laminium se posee testimonio epigráfico donde se hace mención explícita a su condición de municipium. Por su parte núcleos que es probable llegasen a alcanzar status privilegiado serían Oretum, Mantesa y Sisapo. Por otro lado, la situación de este ámbito territorial determinará que se constituya en un auténtico cruce de rutas, en torno a las cuales se asientan toda una serie de mansiones (Ad Palem, Mariana, Parietinis, etc.).
