Sumario:This chapter deals with the cultural legacies of war in Europe. We highlight the most important findings on the back of our comparative study of mass grave exhumations in Spain, Poland and Bosnia, relating to respectively the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Second World War and its aftermath (1940-1956) and the Yugoslav Wars of Dissolution in the 1990s.
