Sumario:[EN] OFP is an observatory dedicated to the so-called Figuration Postconceptual, artistic phenomenon emerged in Spain in the early 1970s with the aim of regenerating figurative painting from personal poetry. The observatory, from its website (http://figuracionpostconceptual.com), offers the researcher a database of reference from the results of the Doctoral Thesis Post-conceptual Figuration. Spanish Painting: New Madrileña Figuration to Neo-metaphysics (1970-2010) (Paco de la Torre, 2012). Linking artistic initiatives with editing publications acquired great importance in the late nineteenth century. The revolutionary avantgarde movements expressed through magazines like Minotauro, Valori Plastici or De Stijl, and throughout the twentieth century as iconic examples like Situationist International or Art-Language. The emergence of the Internet and the digital revolution has created a new context in which this initiative is inserted. With the goal of building self-managed accounts outside proposals led by artists who, stepping forward arise, trying to recover positioning attitudes defended by the historical avantgarde betting on the technologies of XXI century that highlight the advantages of virtuality offers research to achieve international dissemination of their results using minimal resources. The content of the Observatory, available in Castilian and English, is structured around sections devoted to present the phenomenon through news and interviews, with particular attention to artists and their works, program exhibitions, publications and texts. OFP also includes documentation, keys, references, history and literature, as well as directories galleries, critics and institutions linked to the phenomenon over forty years of history.
