| Sumario: | [EN] Nine species of Mesopolobus associated with cynipid Quercus galls, eight of which are new for the Catalan fauna, are studied. Amongst them, Mesopolobus lichtensteini (=Eutelus lichtensteini Mayr, 1903) stat. n. is considered a good species and a lectotype is designated. The aforementioned species was considered a synonym of M. amaenus (Walker, 1834). An identification key allowing to distinguish the different studied species is provided.
