| Sumario: | When we talk about the comfort we must take into account the sensations, experiences, and stimuli that are produced in the users, in this case of low resources, and how their interaction with the space that surrounds them inside their homes can affect positively or negatively that sensation of comfort. The purpose of this research is to extend the space inside the social interest housing (VIS) from 30 to 40 m2, in the city of Ibagué, Colombia, creating and incorporating multifunctional furniture in favor of a better quality of life for its residents. Likewise, to make the research clearer, different bibliographic references will be used on studies of the evolution of furniture in the homes. Finally, this study gives us a clearer vision of how to designing furniture suitable for social housing, taking into account that the right to a dignified life is fundamental for any person will help to improve the quality of life of users. As a conclusion, it will be visualized that the research has good results in the extension of spaces, generating also new lines of research around this topic. |
