Sumario:Abstract: After the unsuccessful coup attempt that was led on august 1932 in Seville by the Africanist general Sanjurjo, the Azaña government ordered the arrest of the insurgents and the suspension of publications sympathetic to monarchical and catholically movements —a good part of which were traditionalist—. Knowing about the limited connection of carlism with that attempt, with the exception of the support in Seville, the objective is to analyze the comments after the journalistic suppression and the informational treatment of the “martyrs” deported to Villa Cisneros. In order to do so, it will be deepened through the combination of newspapers, archival sources and bibliography contemporary to events.
