Descripción
Sumario:In this work we present an application of Intelligent Agents Technology to mediate in the exchange of Human Tissues for transplantation. The impact of this activity is considered to be of first importance for health and also very important in economic terms. The creation of an Institution, called Carrel, will aid in finding intelligent means for a better assignation of organs, tissues and bones banked for transplantation in human beings. Carrel follows the approach of other well-known Agent Mediated Institutions such as Fishmarket and AuctionBot, in order to assure a fair distribution of resources. Carrel is an Intelligent Resources Management Service.
