The test cover Nitrosulfamon, Nitromoncal, Ammonium sulfato, Calcium cyanamide, Nitrosulfate and Sodium nitrate additions. The applications of 11O Kg. of elemental nitrogen per hectarea as Ammonium sulfate and Sodium Nitrate with 80 Kg/Ha. of Mg2SO4 gave maximum yields of grain and recovered nitrogen but the mínimum protein content. Cyanamide plus sodium nitrate and (NH4)2SO4 + NaNO3 -110 Kg. N/Ha.- were almost equally effective. Nitrosulfate and Nitromoncal where the less effective sources of the nitrogen compounds except when K2SO4 where replaced by KCl.[ES] Se hicieron estudios comparativos sobre el efecto de diferentes fertilizantes nitrogenados en la producción de grano, contenido en proteína y nitrógeno recuperado por el maíz cultivado en suelo ligero, arenolimoso. En todos los casos los fertilizantes se aplicaron en dos veces: ½ enterrado antes de la siembra y ½ como cobertera cuando las plantas tenían alrededor de un metro de altura. La experiencia incluye las adiciones de NitroSulfamón, Nitromoncal, Sulfato amónico, Cianamida cálcica, Nitrosulfato y Nitrato sódico. Las aplicaciones de 110 Kg. de nitrógeno elemental por hectárea como sulfato amónico y nitrato sódico con 80 Kg./Ha. de MgS04 dieron la producción máxima de grano y nitrógeno recuperado pero el contenido mínimo de proteína. La cianamida adicionada de nitrato sódico y el SO4(NH4)2 + NO3Na -110 Kg.
