Descrição
Resumo:In contemporary art many artists draw upon and review the work of the masters. The aim of this text is to analyze how Marco Brambilla turns to some of the values of Hieronymus Bosch's art- works in his video Civilization. Some concepts have been raised as common ground to establish analogies between both artists, such as the triple composition, structural versatility and circularity. In order to understand the referential nature of Brambilla's work, the importance of 'videocolla- ge' is also addressed.
