Descripción
Sumario:This study presents an analysis of around one hundred notarised after-death inventories of individuals classified as land workers in the La Selva area during the second half of the 18th century, in three specific periods: 1750-1755, 1775-1780 and 1800-1805. The purpose of this work is to explore the evolution of their consumption patterns, as well as their possibilities of access to property. Additionally, we consider the procedures of social differentiation and the emergence of a new label used to identify skilled land workers: menestrals.
