However, it is necessary to carry out optimizations to reach high efficiencies due to the different defects present in the material that limits the performance and stability of the devices. To achieve this, different strategies have been used such as passivation through the use of bulky cations like phenetylammonium (PEA) and chemical modification using guanidinnium (GA). Using both strategies it was demonstrated that the use of small concentrations can cause a structural modification with beneficial results. On the other hand, it was used a novel scaling technique called flash infrared annealing (FIRA) which allowed increasing the efficiency and stability of cells without the need for any of the strategies mentioned above.
