Sumario:The purpose of the Geological Park of Aliaga is to teach and divulge Geology, by guiding visitors along 11 points and routes of special interest which are signalyzed and show abundant information placards. It is placed within a very interesting natural landscape in the northern Maestrazgo region (Teruel province, Aragón) and constitutes an exceptional viewpoint over the last 200 million years of the earth history. A high number of excellent outcrops allow us to observe the complete stratigraphic record from the Upper Triassic to the Quaternary (with special attention to Cretaceous and Tertiary formations), variate tectonic structures (including superposition of two, N-S and E-W fold systems which may be related to Tertiary unconformities), and a spectacular landscape modelled by selective erosion
