Sumario:The first section of my enquiry concerns itself with the simple issue - why students may be drawn to the study of economics. What is it that they hope to discover by studying economics either within a specialist economics course or as part of some other programme of studies e.g. business studies, environmental science, social policy and administration etc? In addition, what might their future employers expect economics-trained graduates/diplomates to bring to their careers as a result of studying economics.
