Sumario:[EN] This paper deals with the reception of the French literary writers, critics and theorists by the most important Spanish Press in the early nineteenth century. The analysis of the Spanish perception of French authors – used either as models or as counter-models – also helps to shed light on the debate about the support of Spanish literary thinkers for Neoclassic or Pre-Romantic ideas in those years.
