| Sumario: | This paper analyzes the grammatical conceptualization of a specific kind of event which, since Austin's (1962) and Searle's works (1969), are known as speech acts. Since they also represent aspects of reality, they are, as such, submitted to a process of conceptualization, different from the behavior of other types of acts, because language itself is their instrument. The concept of OBJECT TRANSFER, conceptualizing our experience of directive speech acts is conditionned by general cognitive mechanisms, conceptual metaphors and mental space blending, as well as several integrated specific cognitive operations: categorization, particularization, etc. |
