| Sumario: | [EN] From 1937 to 2010, Spain has participated in 8 relevant International Exhibitions with its own pavilion: Paris 1937, Brussels 1958, New York 1964-65, Seville 1992, Hannover 2000, Aichi 2005, Saragossa 2008 and Shanghai 2010. A number of the most outstanding Spanish architects have designed these projects, usually result of a competition and mainly not built. These projects have left a valuable legacy of ideas, interests, attitudes and design strategies. This article analyses several projects in which concrete has been the key as an experimental strategy, meaning an advance for research into this material and its building techniques. |
