These are the reuse of an old flour production plant from the late 19th century (Carretero factory) as a social housing (1987-1995); the restoration of the old Segovia Mint (whose remains date back to the 16th century) as a museum (1999-2006), and the adaptative reuse of the modern building of sausage factory “El Acueducto” for commercial uses, which ensure certain resilience. The three projects represent different conceptual models, criteria and methods of rehabilitation, but they share a notable urban and landscape impact in their genesis and development, due to their location on the accesses and edges of the historic city.
