Sumario:[EN] Artificial Intelligence (AI) has surprisingly burst into today s digital society. This study focuses on the use of generative AI in the reinterpretation and updating of classic literary texts, where the mediation of this technology can be a valuable resource. Through a literature review, the incipient use of AI in the field of education and in the area of Language and Literature Didactics is explored. It also highlights the problems that arise from the decontextualizing of reading practices with society and underlines the need to address contemporary issues in the education of future citizens, in order to give rise to practices that encourage interest in reading based on their interests and needs. This paper proposes to take advantage of the potential of these AI-mediated reinterpretations and the principles of dialogical learning to enrich literary education and foster a dialogue that is relevant and updated to social demands in dialogic literary gatherings. In this way, by employing IA in this cultural and educational activity, we can develop new reflective and discursive approaches to bring current social issues and topics closer to these gatherings, while also promoting interest in reading among participants.
