| Sumario: | The trajectory of the social work profession has gone through different approaches from its origins. Assistance, charity, welfare and social services are words intrinsically associated with his development and they are part of social imaginary of social work. Nowadays, with the new social economic situation, we should work to open news areas, pathways and labor burgeoning. In this sense, social worker is presented as a social entrepreneur; social work in the companies is one of the newest scenarios of our profession. These new scenarios are discussed in this article that open to the social worker as a social entrepreneur and focusses in the called social work in the companies and labours relationship. To do that, the historical evolution in the social work, the current reality and the possibilities are offered in the business�s field and the private practice for the social workers.
