| Sumario: | This research is aimed at strengthening the technological competences that allow the improvement of the teaching and learning processes in pursuit of improving educational conditions in teachers of the "San Vicente Ferrer" school motivated and updated after having determined the limited development of competences due to the scarce knowledge and management of TICs; This raises the design of a training programme, with what is expected in the short and medium term, performance based on its knowledge and application on the technological field. It development demands the stated overall goal: design a training program to develop technological skills in the mixed and Fiscomisional school teachers "San Vicente Ferrer' of the parish of San Pedro de la Bendita of Catamayo canton, province of Loja, school year 2012-2013, also there were structured the respective hypotheses that allowed to be demonstrated through methods analytical - synthetic, inductive - deductive and hermeneutic supported in descriptive statistics. The information was applied surveys to 14 teachers from the institution. The obtained data were compared with the theoretical foundations by applying descriptive statistics using percentages; In conclusion, becomes urgent requirement of training teachers in the use of technological tools that develop skills in this area, and these in turn facilitate the teaching process whose result is to educate students practical with logical reasoning.
