What is the function of writing throughout Adoum’s life? This text aims to give testimony of his life through imagined autobiographies that allow, in the other reality, the restitution of those absent from the unjust and fractured official reality.La obra literaria del ecuatoriano Jorgenrique Adoum está caracterizada por la alteración del lenguaje y su intención reiterativa de describir la “otra realidad”, esa que permite escuchar la voz de los seres humanos desplazados y silenciados por la sociedad y por la historia. Así mismo, en el acto de reiterar, Adoum establece un tejido transtextual en su obra que permite rastrear conexiones entre géneros literarios, distintos períodos de escritura del autor y temas constantes en su obra. ¿Qué función cumple la escritura a lo largo de la vida de Adoum?
