Resumo:This work proposes to read the work of Bolivar Echeverria from the perspective of the historian. Inthe first place, his work is analysed with the intention of finding in it elements that may be usefulfor the production of a history in accordance with the demands of the civilizational crisis in whichwe are immersed. Secondly, it offers some clues to, according to Bolivar Echeverria, read Marx’sCapital as a book in which a certain writing of history is practiced and in which an unknown theoryof history is found, in the intelligence that both things inspire the proposal around the historyof Bolivar Echeverria’s work.
