In recent years, there has been a considerable increase in the sector based on the labor of Bolivian migrant workers. Currently, producer and professional organizations from different government agencies promote an agroecological transition that modifies the conventional vegetable production. Between 2016-2018 the combination of the economic crisis and the adverse climatic storms led to the agroecological discourse being installed in the producer organizations. State´s technical professionals played an important role in this process, although they have been working for a long time in the region. Based on ethnographic interviews with agricultural technicians, we problematize their interventions. This article explores the work performed by state professionals, the knowledge circulation and the construction of links made with the producers. In this way, three areas of intervention of these technicians could be specified: the agroecological discourse as innovation, the organizational dimension and the affection network that builds confidence.En la Argentina, la mayor producción de hortalizas frescas se encuentra localizada en el cinturón hortícola de La Plata. El incremento del sector, durante los últimos años, ha sido considerable a partir de la mano de obra de trabajadores migrantes bolivianos. Actualmente, organizaciones de productores y profesionales de diferentes dependencias estatales promueven una transición agroecológica que modifique la producción convencional de hortalizas. Entre 2016 y 2018 la combinación de la crisis económica y los temporales climáticos adversos propició que el discurso agroecológico se instale en las organizaciones de productores. Si bien trabajan desde hace tiempo en la región, los profesionales técnicos del Estado tuvieron un lugar preponderante en ese proceso. A partir de la realización de entrevistas etnográficas a técnicos agrónomos, problematizamos sus intervenciones en estos contextos. En este artículo se indaga el trabajo que realizan profesionales estatales, la circulación de saberes y la construcción de vínculos que realizan con productores.
