This research aims to determine the various factors of alcohol consumption and the causes of alcoholism and to reach the current reason for this behavior in adolescents from the Sangolquí parish. A survey was used to collect the data within which questions focused on aspects of the social, emotional, behavioral, and psychological environment were integrated. The results indicated that the consumption of alcohol in students begins by experiencing new things to adopt a more sociable behavior, which is something very important in this stage of life in the vast majority, but the problem that must be analyzed more deeply and in detail is that population that responded to the survey unfavorably, indicating that they have problems, hence the reason for inappropriate consumption. It is clear that alcoholism is a social problem that adolescents consume for the acceptance of a certain group, family problems, and emotional problems because they feel alone; however, most young people do it for fun together with friends from their environment. This leads to the real reason for this research.La problemática del consumo de alcohol a temprana edad afecta a la población estudiantil, ya que la edad promedio de inicio de actividades en las que el alcohol está presente está relacionada con la edad de ingreso al nivel secundario de educación. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar los diversos factores que influyen de forma negativa en los adolescentes, pertenecientes al nivel secundario de educación, por el consumo de alcohol desmedido de la parroquia de Sangolquí Para la investigación se uso una encuesta para recopilar datos enfocados a aspectos del entorno social, emocional, conductual y psicológico de los participantes con el fin de determinar datos relevantes actuales. Los resultados indicaron que el consumo de alcohol en estudiantes inicia por experimentar cosas nuevas para adaptar una conducta más sociable.
