This research aims to analyze the feasibility for the implementation of a company that offers cremation funeral services in the city of Latacunga, in the year 2021. The methodology was quantitative, descriptive and experimental for the province of Cotopaxi. The stated objectives were to design a feasibility project, which was based theoretically and epistemologically on research and work previously carried out, referring to the incineration or cremation of human remains, the factors of perception and social acceptance, as others typical of the investigation. of the market, as well as the technical and financial study, which allowed concluding that, in the country, there was evidence of an existing growing demand for the cremation service, as a result of the adoption of new methods in the final disposal of dead bodies. , as well as a lack of space in cemeteries and pantheons, determining the cremation funeral service as an option to mitigate the existing problem. Ecuadorian regulations contemplate crematoria in an updated manner, thus guaranteeing the use and treatment of adequate and efficient technologies, consistent with environmental care and friendly management with the areas of influence where it was located. The investment was recovered in a period just over three years of life of the project, demonstrating a favorable level in determining its viability and feasibility.

The investment was recovered in a period just over three years of life of the project, demonstrating a favorable level in determining its viability and feasibility.El presente trabajo de titulación fue desarrollado en apego a la línea de investigación: Administración de la calidad y economía para el desarrollo social del programa de Maestría en Administración de Empresas, de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, dando cumplimiento al objeto de estudio del programa en, la capacidad profesional de crear, dirigir y administrar emprendimientos que contribuyan al sector empresarial, de manera estratégica, apegada al desarrollo y la responsabilidad social local, regional y del país. Esta investigación pretende analizar la factibilidad para la implementación de una empresa que ofrezca los servicios exequiales de cremación en la ciudad de Latacunga, en el año 2021. La metodología fue de carácter cuantitativo, descriptivo y experimental para la provincia de Cotopaxi. Los objetivos planteados fueron, el diseñar un proyecto de factibilidad, mismo que se fundamentó teórica y epistemológicamente en investigaciones y trabajos anteriormente realizados, referentes a la incineración o cremación de restos humanos, los factores de percepción y aceptación social, como otros propios de la investigación del mercado, así también, el estudio técnico y financiero, que permitieron concluir en que, en el país se evidenció una existente demanda creciente por el servicio de cremación, como resultado de la adopción de nuevos métodos en la disposición final de los cuerpos sin vida, así como también, una falta de espacio en cementerios y panteones, determinando al servicio exequial de cremación como opción mitigante de la problemática existente. La normativa ecuatoriana contempla a los crematorios de manera actualizada, garantizando así, el uso y tratamiento de tecnologías adecuadas y eficientes, coherentes al cuidado medioambiental y el manejo amigable con las zonas de influencia en donde se ubicó el mismo.
