In this sense, such outdoor activities practices multiply. In the recreational or competitive sports field you can find different activities, cycling is one of them. There is a huge concern for the impact that mankind causes to the environment and therefore have developed conservation proposals, less contamination and more physically activity, being one of them the construction permanent of recreational bike paths. The province of Chimborazo is located in the center of the inter-Andean road, its capital Riobamba is better known as the Sultan of the Andes, surrounded by four volcanoes: Chimborazo (Ecuador's highest), Tungurahua, Altar and a group of mountains not volcanic called Cubillines. Composed of ten counties: Penipe, Alausí, Chunchi, Guano, Riobamba, Chambo, Cumandá, Pallatanga, Colta, and Guamote, its altitude ranges from 320 m in the area of Cumandá up to 6310 meters at the highest summit of Chimborazo. Guano, better known as Canton of watershed is divided by the river of the same name (Guano River) in two urban counties: The Matriz and El Rosario plus nine rural counties, is located 8 km from the provincial capital Riobamba, considered craft center for the manufacture of handmade rugs, clothing of leather, and very famous for its typical gastronomic diversity of Ecuador. The parish Rosary is a privileged place to develop sports tourism for its proximity to Riobamba and its tourist attractions found along its route in implementing the " Touristic Sport Bikeway: La Ruta del Fraile" project, which aims to create a circuit cycling to motivate and reactivate tourism development in this county, where the bike path will serve to increase the level of visitation to the county and being a strategic solution for the multiplier effect that involves developing tourism. To implement the proposed recreational bike path, three strategic defined objectives have been defined with its respective activities and outcome indicators. The final output of the marketing mix was combined by producing flyers, billboards, written notices and authorization of the event organizing, it is a documented experience of a route that can be visited and be traveled by bike lovers trying to justify tourists and athletes to cross the Rosary county by bike, discovering beautiful scenery, sharing the friendliness of its people with the security of being backed by institutions that ensure their welfare during the trip without risk of accidents and contributing to "Leave No Trace in the places we travel. Ministry of Tourism).En la actualidad cada vez más las personas buscan interactuar en la naturaleza y dejar atrás el ritmo de ciudades saturadas por el tráfico y smog además carecen de espacios recreativos naturales. En tal sentido las prácticas de actividades al aire libre se multiplican. En el ámbito deportivo recreativo o competitivo se pueden encontrar diferentes actividades, el ciclismo es uno de ellos. Existe una enorme preocupación por el impacto que la humanidad provoca en la naturaleza y por ello se han desarrollado propuestas de conservación, menos contaminacción y más actividad física siendo, una de ellas la construcción de ciclovías permanentes y recreativas. La provincia de Chimborazo se ubicada en el centro del callejón interandino, su capital Riobamba más conocida como la Sultana de los Andes, rodeada por cuatro volcanes: el Chimborazo (el más alto del Ecuador), Tungurahua, el Altar y un grupo de montañas no volcánicas llamadas Los Cubillines. Compuesta por diez cantones: Penipe, Alausí, Chunchi, Guano, Riobamba, Chambo, Cumandá, Pallatanga, Colta, Guamote, su altitud va desde los 320 msnm en la zona de Cumandá hasta los 6310 msnm en la cumbre máxima del Chimborazo. Guano, más conocida como el cantón de las vertientes se encuentra dividida por el río del mismo nombre (Río Guano) en dos parroquias urbanas: La Matriz y El Rosario y nueve parroquias rurales, se ubica a 8 km de la capital de provincia Riobamba, considerada centro artesanal por la elaboración de alfombras a mano, confección de artículos de cuero, y muy famosa por su diversidad gastronómica típica del Ecuador. La parroquia el Rosario, lugar priviligiado para desarrollar el turismo deportivo por su cercanía a Riobamba y por sus atractivos turísticos que encontramos a lo largo de su recorrido en la ejecución del proyecto “Ciclovía Turística Deportiva La Ruta del Fraile”, el cual pretende crear un circuito ciclístico que motive y reactive el desarrollo turístico de esta parroquia, donde, la ciclovía servirá para aumentar el grado de visitación al cantón y parroquia siendo una solución estratégica por el efecto multiplicador que conlleva desarrollar el turismo. Para implementar el proyecto de ciclovía recreativa se definieron 3 objetivos estratégicos y con sus respectivas actividades e indicadores de resultado. La obtención del resultado final se combinó el marketing mix mediante la elaboración de volantes, gigantografías, convocatorias escritas y autorización de organización del evento, se trata de una experiencia en documentación de una ruta que pueden visitar y ser recorridas por los amantes del ciclismo pretendiendo motivar a turistas y deportistas a recorrer la parroquia el Rosario en bicicleta, descubriendo hermosos paisajes, compartiendo la amabilidad de su gente con la seguridad de estar respaldados por entidades que aseguran su bienestar durante el recorrido sin riesgos de accidentes y contribuyendo a “No Dejar Rastro en los sitios que recorremos”.
