Descripción
Sumario:The conceptualization of community based tourism has been a learning process. Some definitions have been the result of the contribution of various social, academic, public and non-governmental organizations stakeholders. In this scenario, the objective of the present study was to analyze a large number of documents of all kinds, in order to analyze them systematically and critically, trying to locate conceptual similarities and differences, which exist around the community-based tourism idea. His ultimate goal is not to present a unified concept, but to present findings on which there will be an academic and social debate, towards a concept that is generally accepted.
