| Resumo: | The present study was carried out with the objective of implementing quality control by processes to achieve the improvement in the balanced production line at the company ALBAPEC S.A., a producer of balanced products located in Mejia canton, in the province of Pichincha. The company has suffered problems such as differences between volume and time in each batch of production, errors and failures, reproduction costs, inventory losses, among others. The study covered a bibliographical, documentary and field research, for which surveys and observation sheets were used to measure various indicators of quality and productivity. As a result, there were strong variations in times and costs. The proposal consisted of a quality control system in processes with a focus on the production line, which included the proposal of a quality policy, process policies, flow diagrams, processes and continuous improvement. In addition, a comparative analysis of quality and productivity was carried out between the original process and the forecast of results with the implementation of the proposal |
