| Summary: | The overall research aims: Perform Environmental Impact Study (EIA) of the mining area of “Valle Hermoso” Catamayo Canton, in 2011, it's about an before -after exploitation and mining surface, are 3 hectares and 11 hectares of farm conservation of the environment, plus it is a small mining by its nature, the purpose is to obtain guidelines and guidelines that permit the development of an environmental management plan, according to legal legislation, and technology, which will minimize negative impacts and environmental recovery original. Prosecutions used for hypothesis testing, were the hypothetical - deductive, analytical explanatory, and for the development of the analysis came to the descriptive method, were used together bibliographic and sampling methods for the analysis of soil, water, air, biota. The techniques applied were observation by observation guides, checklists, and photographic records of impacts rubrics, enabling reach verify the working hypothesis. The research was the advice of professionals in various disciplines. The main results to those reached in this research are: performing a characterization of the area, the detail of the project activities (legal and administrative environment), description and analysis of the geo-physical, biotic (vegetation - animals), soil, water, air, socio-economic, cultural and tourism, in addition to the quantitative assessment of the environmental impacts generated by the project, which stands out: They have produced 45 interactions, of which only 8 are positive environmental factors most affected by the mining project, in order are: air, social environment (cane cultivation, health / safety), soil and landscape, the activities that cause negative effects on the environment salient environment are: Treatment of alluvial preparation work fronts-adequacy of hits, the exploitation of alluvial. |
