| Resumo: | The present research work presents the analysis of the environmental risk factors of Relavera Comunitaria El Tablón in the operation phase located in the Portovelo canton, a deposit that stocks the tailings of the Zaruma Portovelo Mining District Benefit Plants. The historic tailings until July 2019 express that 1’626,853 m of tailings have been confined. The method used is an analytical-synthetic investigation based on the cause-effect interaction to define environmental impact positive or negative in the project processes, applying the binary option incidence methodology using double-entry matrices (Leopold matrix). It is concluded that 32.70% are positive impacts, and 67.3% are negative impacts. The most negatively affected factors are air and soil quality, and the social-economic component has benefited. |
