| Sumario: | Emotions have a significant influence on the life of every human being, also in the university educational part, affecting study performance, motivation, decisionmaking and student well-being. Understanding and managing emotions in students is essential to promote an optimal learning environment and support their educational and personal development. The objective of the article Promote a greater understanding of the emotions of university students by encouraging educational practices that are considered effectively. Literary review documentary methodology is used, it consists of collecting information from various sources, such as academic studies, articles, research and relevant documents. The results reveal that the emotions in the students themselves play a crucial role in academic performance, motivation, decision-making and student well-being in the university context. Among the results, positive emotions were emphasized, such as joy and interest, they favor learning, concentration, and information retention. On the other hand, negative emotions, such as anxiety, frustration, can hinder the learning process, generate low academic performance, and in turn reduce motivation. In addition, they also influence the decisions in their lives and in the academic part in the important events of the students, both in their choice of career and in their participation in extracurricular activities. In conclusion, the importance of promoting student well-being is highlighted, recognizing the impact of emotions on mental health and the general satisfaction of university students. |
