| Summary: | The management models used by distribution companies leave little room to analyze and assess the real needs and priorities of their assets to somehow understand if the resources invested in maintenance programs are the most beneficial for the system. So the question is when and where to invest for maximum benefit and how to quantify the benefits of maintenance.
