And finally, the results of the constitutional referendum are reviewed.Al texto analiza los resultados de las elecciones seccionales realizadas en Ecuador, el 5 de febrero del 2023. La investigación se divide en tres partes. En primer lugar, se presenta varios apuntes sobre las elecciones seccionales, enfocándose en la elección de prefectos, en las 23 provincias en donde se elige esta dignidad; y, para el caso de alcaldías, en las 10 ciudades más pobladas del país, las cuales concentran aproximadamente, un 38% del total nacional.  En un segundo momento, se hace referencia a la elección de los miembros del Consejo de Participación Ciudadana y Control Social.
