Sumario:This research originated the current situation in tax educational centers of the province of Loja, in laying down a series of educational problems that do not originate or even the economic situation of each family, but lost values of family unity, these problems have been noted with the results that they originate in homes with family violence and cause negative results in the emotional development of children. This work is specifically made to domestic violence and its impact on the emotional development of the children of the first year of basic education of the fiscal school "Enrique Galindo cows" of parish school - Catamayo Canton - province of Loja. The overall objective was taken into account: to analyze and explain the incidence of domestic violence and its negative impact on the affective development of the students of the first basic education school tax study were applied. Methods were applied as the scientist, deductive, analytical, statistical, hermeneutic, quantitative, in addition to the preparation of the analysis of attended the descriptive method. The techniques that were applied were: the survey to a total population of 42 children, equal number of parents and 6 teachers, which allowed to obtain related information to know how the criterion of the subject of the work takes place in mentioned interest groups, data that were analyzed and processed qualitative and quantitatively to then be confronted with references or theoretical framework. The results obtained results is that studied children currently suffer in their homes of physical violence (73.81%) verbal or psychological (80.95%) also say parents with a relative 40.48% and teachers with 50% ", also that domestic violence affects the emotional development of the children of the first year of basic education campus in study and 69% manifested alumni / ae, corroborate the 59.53% of parents and teachers 66.67%. Finally the parents or guardians of children / as to assist in the emotional development of children is recommended providing an ideal family environment of understanding, communication and respect, also implement the suggestions developed in the workshop propositional called "guidelines aimed at reducing domestic violence and improve the emotional development of children from the first year of basic education.
