Descripción
Sumario:This research aimed to develop a proposal for an ecotourism corridor that promotes sustainable development in the conservation areas of Humedal La Segua and Isla Corazón and Fragatas Wildlife Refuge (REVISICOF). Qualitative research methods were applied (observation, inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic); establishing the following phases: diagnosis, tourist zoning and ecotourism corridor. In results, the baseline of the area under study is described, highlighting the importance of its ecosystems, tourist activities and its potentialities. With the participation of community residents, the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that characterize both the wetland and the REVISICOF were identified; finally, the design of the corridor raises objectives, policies and regulations that regulate its proper management. Both areas have great tourist potential. Zones of intangible use, sustainable use and public use were drawn up, and, in their function, the tourist activities to be developed were established.
