| Summary: | This paper aims to provide an overview of the contributions made by the diplomatic efforts of Peru and Ecuador to the growth and strengthening of the relations between these two countries. The article specifies the scope and objectives of the diplomatic work in this area, its background and the internal and external factors that encouraged this process. Likewise, it attempts to organize over time the different agreements and dialogue and concertation mechanisms that have emerged since the end of the conflict. Finally, it briefly addresses the treatment of specific areas of diplomatic work, from economic promotion to modern defense policies. |
