Sumario:This article starts from the hypothesis that the relative macroeconomic growth of Ecuador, in the last 20 years, has generated an impoverishment of the population, especially of the middle class, which supposes an increase in the distance between the working and marginal class. and the groups that own the most wealth in the country; a problem that could be solved by combining social, environmental and economic aspects that allow achieving human development with dignity.
