Descripción
Sumario:This study makes an energy evaluation of the level station and the efficiency procedure to be implemented in order to decrease the electricity use. Functioning tests and electric measurements were made for the pump regulation and also for the regulation with the frequency oscillator. A mathematical model was found of the level station in order to evaluate the system in a simulated and real situation and to obtain a relationship between the functioning and the value of the used coefficients for the tuning of the different controllers. In the level station, an automatic control of the process was make using the controllers: proportional, integral proportional, and derivative integral; analyzing the responses of each of them in a rapid response process. The replacement of the proportional valve for a frequency oscillator generated a meaningful reduction of the electric consumption giving better performance to the actual system.
