| Sumario: | Math class is in process of evolution, the traditional classes centered on the teacher are losing momentum in Ecuadorian education, giving way to classes that prioritize the student and their learning. Traditionally, the mathematics teacher has had professional training in technical areas and little training in pedagogy and skills to carry out a class based on constructivist paradigms of learning, centered on the student and the quality of their learning. A constructivist class of mathematics involves having a student with a different vision from his or her traditional education, must be motivated to achieve meaningful learning, for this must be able to investigate, analyze, reflect, pose creative solutions, solve situations of the context, formed in values and which contributes to the growth of society. |
