Descripción
Sumario:Even though poetry, inasmuch as a literary text, is writing, conserves deep links with oral word. Gonzalo Rojas, a connoisseur of the laws of poetry, handles with a special skill those links. As a matter of fact, his writing is especially sensitive to the oral evocations that verses, words and even sounds provoke in the poetry reader. Hence the importance of silence in his writing, not just as a theme or rhetorical procedure, or even as the silence that every internalized expression, like poetry, entails, but silence as “the otherness” of words, like that which is always present without being said, and that points out to that deeper levels of what can’t be said.
