The different repertoires available to remember the recent past are part of the way of elaborating the past, mobilized by television in fictional formats. The stories proposed in series and mini-series, although they thematically approach the dictatorial period (1973-1989), are organized from the present. Although these stories seem to be transgressors to “show” perspectives that had been absent from television previously, they also propose a closure of meaning that reproduces “consensus”, an idea that was instilled during the transition stage to democracy.La conmemoración de los 40 años del Golpe de Estado en Chile, en 2013, dejó en evidencia la extrema politización del campo de la memoria de ese periodo entre los chilenos. Así, los distintos repertorios disponibles para recordar el pasado reciente son parte de las formas de elaborar el pasado, movilizadas por la televisión en formatos ficcionales. Los relatos propuestos en series y miniseries, aunque temáticamente abordan el periodo dictatorial (1973-1989), son organizados desde el presente y, a pesar de que parecieran ser transgresores al “mostrar” perspectivas que habían estado ausentes de la televisión previamente, proponen una clausura de sentido que reproduce la idea del “consenso” instalada en la etapa de la transición a la democracia.A comemoração dos 40 anos do Golpe de Estado no Chile, em 2013, evidenciou a extrema politização do campo da memória sobre este período entre os chilenos. Dessa maneira, os distintos repertórios disponíveis para recordar o passado recente constituíram parte das formas de elaboração desse mesmo passado, mobilizadas pela ficção televisiva.
