Descripción
Sumario:The present study is based on the analysis of a shrimp packing plant, with the purpose of evaluating the circular economy paradigm. For this, an information approach was carried out with the objective of proposing improvements for the recycling and reuse of waste with the application of methods based on the circular economy within the company. The type of research used is descriptive and field because part of the shrimp production and the circular economy variables were characterized. A checklist was available for evaluation. In the results obtained, it was determined that the production of the shrimp packing plant is working in a linear economy, and that this company has a circular economy at a medium level of application. This would allow improvements in sustainability by further implements of the circular economy.
