The objective of the research was to analyze financial management by diagnosing the current situation of the sector, the analysis of financial statements, proposing a model that allows improving the profitability of companies in the veterinary health sector that are in this situation of business vulnerability. For the development of the work the mixed approach was used, the type of research used was descriptive, in relation to the temporal scope it was longitudinal because a company was studied during several economic periods. The population was ten companies in the sector, the sample was one company. The techniques for data collection were the interview, the observation guide and the documentary analysis of financial statements.....El trabajo de investigación Gestión Financiera en el Sector de Salud Veterinaria, se realizó porque en la actualidad las empresas del sector de salud veterinaria de la provincia de Santa Elena carecen de una eficiente gestión financiera, el desconocimiento de sus debilidades trae como consecuencia un desequilibrio económico y financiero, deficiencias en su planeación y control de recursos. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la gestión financiera mediante el diagnóstico de la situación actual del sector, el estudio de los estados financieros, proponiendo un modelo que permita mejorar la rentabilidad de las empresas del sector de salud veterinaria que se encuentran en esta situación de vulnerabilidad empresarial. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se utilizó el enfoque mixto, el tipo de investigación que se utilizó fue la descriptiva, en relación al alcance temporal fue longitudinal porque se estudió una empresa durante varios períodos económicos. La población fueron diez empresas del sector, la muestra fue una empresa.
